The NNMIEC Training Department will provide this required 8 hour course. The series is presented in PowerPoint and will be highly interactive. Emphasis is placed on the significant changes to chapters 1 through 4 of the 2017 NEC. Students are encouraged to bring a copy of the 2017 NEC or 2017 NEC Handbook. NNMIEC will also have 2017 NEC softbound books available for purchase. Lunch, snacks and beverages are included in the registration price.

NNMIEC will present an overview of NEC Article 450. The course is designed to ensure the studentís general understanding of the NEC transformer rules, including sizing, terminating, grounding & bonding, guarding and clearances. Approved as Continuing Education for EE-98J certification renewal. Students are encouraged to bring a copy of NEC 2017.

NNMIEC will present an overview of NEC Article 430. The course will detail the NEC requirements governing motor control, conductors, disconnects, sizing, short-circuit and ground fault protection. Approved as Continuing Education for EE-98J certification renewal. Students are encouraged to bring a copy of NEC 2017.
