Telecommunications and Special Systems
An in-depth study of the requirements contained in chapters 7 and 8 of the
National Electrical Code. Communication circuits, fire alarm signaling, optical
fiber cable, remote-control, signaling, and power-limited circuitry are some of the
topics that are covered. The course is presented in PowerPoint and approved as
continuing education for EE-98J certification renewal.

Grounding and Bonding 2008 NEC
This four-hour overview of NEC Article 250 will clarify many of the confusing
aspects of one of the most important and misinterpreted sections of the code.
Presented in PowerPoint, the course is approved as continuing education for
EE-98J certification renewal. Students are encouraged to bring a copy of the
2008 NEC or handbook.

The NNMIEC Training Department will present this required 8 hour course. The series is presented in PowerPoint and will be highly interactive. Emphasis is placed on the significant changes to chapters 1 through 4 of the 2008 NEC. Students are encouraged to bring a copy of the 2008 NEC or 2008 NEC Handbook. Lunch is included in registration price.
